Currently, control the hunting on a little over 25000 acres mostly located in Harper county. The big ranch which consists of roughly 19000 acres ( all contiguous ) highly managed and has minimums. The other hunting acreages consist of 39 farms scattered across Beaver, ELLIS, Woodward, and Harper counties. These other farms have no minimums or penalties. Hunters are allowed to choose if they want to hunt the big ranch or one of the other farms.

MINIMUMS For Big Ranch

ARCHERY-8 points or less-130

ARCHERY-9 points or more-140

Muzzleloader and Rifle-8 points or less-140/9 points or more than 150

The age structure of 5.5 years or older/age structure is the biggest factor- There is a hit list.

Penalty for not adhering to rules on big ranch-2500.00

2026 ARCHERY OPENINGS:

• -October 1st-5th (5-day hunt-$2,850)
• -October 8th-11th (4-day hunt-$2,500)
• -October 17th-21st (5-day hunt-$2,850)
• -November 5th-8th (4-day hunt-$3,000)
• -November 14th-18th (5-day hunt-$3,300)
• -December 12th-16th (5-day hunt-$3,000)

2026 MUZZLELOADER OPENINGS:

• -October 24th-27th (4-day hunt-$3,500)
• -October 29th-November 1st (4-day hunt-$3,500)

2026 RIFLE OPENINGS:

• -November 21nd-25th (5 day hunt-$4,250)
• -November 28th-December 1st (4-day hunt-$3,800)
• -December 3th-6th (4-day hunt-$3,800)

All hunts include lodging and evening meal- we also have quail and predator hunts for those that tag out early also crappie fishing.
